  • Do your biscuits contain nuts?
    No, the biscuits do not contain nuts. However they are baked in an environment where nuts are handled and so they cannot be classed as nut free.
  • Are the biscuits gluten free or dairy free?
    Unfortunately at the moment there is not a gluten free or dairy free alternative.
  • How long do the biscuits stay fresh for?
    The Gingerbread has a best before of 4 months (Store out of direct sunlight and in a cool dark place).
  • Can I personalise biscuits?
    Some of the biscuits can be personalised with name, age or a set message.
  • How big are the biscuits and boxes?
    The biscuits vary in size according to the design. Gift Box A is approximately 12.5cm by 11.5cm. Gift Box B is approximately 16.5cm by 15.5cm.
  • How are the biscuits packaged?
    The biscuits are packaged in eco-friendly biscuit boxes. Glassine cushion pads are used to protect the biscuits in transportation. A printed gift message can be included and will be placed on top of the glassine covering the biscuits. No invoice or price is included in any of our parcels. All billing is done via email. The gift box is put into a brown postal box made to fit the biscuit boxes to ensure minimal movement for posting.
  • Are your gift boxes letterbox friendly?
    They will fit the majority of letterboxes. A fragile sticker on the outer postal box means the postman or courier may prefer to hand deliver the gift box.
  • How much is postage?
    The postage is £4.50 1st class per box.
  • When should I order?
    Please allow 7 working days (weekends and bank holidays not included) in advance to allow for personalisation, dispatch and delivery.
  • If I choose a delivery date well in advance can you delay my order to arrive on the chosen date?
    Orders can be delayed - payment must be made at the time of order. We aim to have the biscuits delivered on the estimated delivery date but we do rely on Royal Mail for final delivery.
  • Can I send my order to multiple addresses?
    No. Please place one order for each delivery address.
  • Do you deliver internationally?
    Unfortunately not at the moment, but I hope to in the future.
  • I have not received shipping confirmation?
    Please check your spam/junk folder of your email and ensure you have entered the correct email address. If you have still not received it, please email us on thecottagebiscuitbakery@gmail.com
  • What are your opening hours?
    Opening hours are Monday- Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm.
  • Where do you ship to?
    I ship anywhere in the UK.
  • Can I collect my order from your premises?
    No, all business is by postal delivery.
